Easy job? 4 men who get paid to do nothing

It does not get any easier than this - Four men hired by the Korean Folk Village in Seoul have become the envy of many gen-y workers for having one of the easiest jobs in the world. They are 'beggars' at the tourist attraction, which is a park built to showcase the way Koreans lived in the past.

 

Not only are these four men paid to act like they are homeless and jobless, they also get to  keep any extra extra money or presents visitors give them.

 

According to Drama Fever, the four young men get to do whatever they wish during their time as 'beggars' in the park, which is popularly featured in Korean period dramas.

They get to sleep as and when they wish, beg for money from passers-by, or simply do absolutely nothing and they will still get their salary and be entitled to company benefits like everyone else does. They even have the luxury of arguing with park visitors as this being argumentative is seen as one of the characteristics a folk village beggar should have.

 

While they might seem like good-for-nothings, three of the 'beggars' are actually hardworking college students while one of them is an actor.

One of them is known for his language skills, and is often seen pro-actively engaging with tourists in the park.

However, not all of the 'beggars' are so enthusiastic. It was reported that the professional actor in the group prefers not to conduct any begging activities, choosing to relax as he claims he has a back problem.
