Following reports that Coach Stephen Keshi is considering his position with the national team, he has given conditions for his stay with the national team in a meeting with the president of the country.
The two time AFCON winner met with the president after the arrival from Brazil, there he demanded for the lump sum salary of 10 Million Naira a month and a further request that it be paid him upfront just to avoid the payment delays he suffered from the Aminu Maigari NFF.
According to AfrcanFootball, a top official at the presidential villa disclosed the terms of the meeting confirming: “He demanded for 10 million Naira a month, which he wants to be paid upfront to check any delays.

“He also wanted what he called a free hand as regards his team selection and preparations, saying he no longer wishes to deal with the technical committee.
“He also wanted Okpalla back to his backroom staff.’’
The undisclosed official further stated that: “The President has assured him that his demands will be considered.”
The NFF proposed a 7 Million Naira salary in a new deal for the coach, Keshi is yet to say anything about that deal.
It is also reported that Keshi was on a solidarity visit to the ousted NFF President Aminu Maigari.
