In a world that George R.R. Martin has filled with irredeemable characters, The Mountain That Rides may just be the worst — the murderous knight otherwise known as Ser Gregor Clegane has been responsible for some of the most shocking moments in Game of Thrones and the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. But the man who plays The Mountain inGame of Thrones' fourth season, Hafþór 'Thor' Björnsson, is a pretty formidable character himself;

The 6-foot-9, 420-pound Iceland native won four of six strength competitions: Deadlift, Yoke, Forward Hold (Thor’s Hammer), Giant Dumbell for reps (100 kg), Atlas Stones, and Loading Race.

The Mountain’s best event was the Atlas Stones, where he lifted an unprecedented six stones of increasing weights onto barrels. He also won the dumbbell press, lifting a 100-kg (220-pound) weight above his head with one arm seven times.
