Wearable computers, future technologies, that's all just my cup of tea. That is why I follow my favourite tech writer, +Mike Elgan. No better way to keep up with it all, without doing the work yourself.
I like wearable computers like #GoogleGlass , but somehow the idea of a #SmartWatch has always fascinated me. They (and flying cars) are the epitome of #FutureTechnology for me and it seems that they will be able to do so much more than just tell the time and make phone calls. My favourite right now is the #EmoPulse (the one in the picture), but Mike guides you through a whole range of smartwatches in his article
Mike Elgan originally shared:
The smartwatch revolution isn't waiting for Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, LG or Intel.
In a recent Google infomercial (also known as the movie The Internship), the main characters, played by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, lose their jobs as wristwatch salesmen because “everything is computerized now.” In desperation, they do the only logical thing, which is to try out for Google internships.
Instead, our bumbling heroes should have stuck it out in the wristwatch racket, because watches are about to come back in a major way.
And, yes, everything is computerized now. ; )
