A VIDEO of a father in a car ramming and chasing his son's car in busy traffic on Wednesday in a Chinese city has gone viral.
Closed-circuit television footage showed a black Mercedes-Benz chasing a red BMW sports car on a main road in Ma'anshan of eastern China's Anhui province, reported Xinhua news agency website Xinhuanet.
The black car first stopped at a junction and suddenly backed up, hitting the red car behind it.
A road chase ensued with the two cars staying close to each other and ramming into each other.
On the video, the drama lasts about four minutes, before the black vehicle stops the sports car by ramming into its side.
The driver of the red car then abandons his vehicle and runs away.
The driver of the black car gets out and chases after him.
Chinese TV channels and news websites broadcast the footage, which also made its way onto YouTube.
The two cars, both badly damaged, were abandoned on the road until traffic police came to tow them away.
No injuries were reported.
