Microsoft founder and CEO Bill Gates is no stranger to the world. Not only is he an icon in the tech world, he is also the richest man in the world this year, according to Bloomberg.
According Celebrity Real Estate, the business magnate recently bought a luxurious Palm Beach County home in the US for US$8.7 million (S$11 million).

Although the amount he shelled out seems like nothing when compared to his US$72.7 billion wealth, the waterfront estate is by no means any less impressive.
The website reported that Gates purchased the horse ranch after renting the property last year.
It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and spans 7,234 square feet.
It also includes a 1.78-acre riding field and 20-stall barn, as well as a show-jumping arena.
Gates reportedly also owns a modern, 50,000-square-foot estate at Lake Washington.
