Kidnapper dies in Lagos Shootout.

 

Lagos policeman engaged in a shootout with four members of an alleged kidnapping syndicate.

 

Two Chinese men have been abducted in Ikorodu. The offenders are said to have forced the victims, staff members of LEE Group, into a BMW, and drove them to an alleged den in Ogun State.

 

Spokesman for the Ogun State Police Command, confirmed the incident by saying “The Chinese, Song Jiang She and Zhang Wen Xue, were rescued unhurt after  policemen from Ogijo divisional headquarters led by the Divisional Police Officer, Toyin Afolaogun, a Superintendent of Police, stormed the kidnappers’ den and  engaged them in a gun duel.”

 

Miyiwa Adejobi also continued that one of the kidnappers died from his injuries following the shootout. The Kidnappers “den” is now under constant surveillance for any more suspicious activity.
