Abraham - September 08, 2013

What is your highest qualification? A degree, diploma? Well, perhaps this story will motivate you to further your education.

A dog was awarded an honorary masters degree by the John Hopkins University School of Education, reported the Huffington Post.

The service dog, Kirsch, was awarded the degree after having attended all of its master's classes.

The owner, Carlos Mora, received his Master of Science in Counselling, and his dog was awarded the honorary degree for having attended all the classes as well.

According to the university's news site, SOETalk.com, this announcement was read over the PA system when the duo went on stage to collect their certificates:

"Our last counseling degree graduate to walk across the stage tonight is Carlos Mora and his service dog Kirsch. Since Kirsch sat through every class with Carlos, both will be receiving a masters degree in mental health counseling. We want everyone to know that Kirsch was not charged for his degree."

This got me thinking,Can this be done in Naija…you dare try it-you finished
