How could anyone look this beautiful? The answer is, no one can. Photographic and “airbrush” manipulation of images of women for presentation in media has surfaced as a controversy again after a copy of a video created in 2012 went viral on Wednesday. The original video, seen here, was released by the GlobalDemocracy.com as part of a campaign to encourage mandatory disclaimers when images are “airbrushed” through makeup or other means. Watch how specifically the image is altered, from the model’s facial expression and appearance right down to “removing” the dirt from the bottom of the her feet.
