A man has claimed that sex drugs he bought over the Internet to increase his sexual performance destroyed his life, Harian Metro reported.The man, who only wanted to be known as Moksin, 52, claimed that his kidneys failed and he had to go for kidney dialysis three times a week.
He said he bought the drugs for RM480 (S$190) a bottle (30 tablets) and after a few weeks of taking the medicine, he said he was able to satisfy his 26-year-old wife.After three months of taking the medicine, he suffered a heart attack in March last year, he said.
"I was found to have hypertension and my kidneys were damaged, but at that time, no one could verify the source until a follow-up check up confirmed that the source was the medicine I took," he alleged.
Selangor Health Department director Datuk Dr Azman Abu Bakar said illegal sex drugs were known to cause severe side effects as they were mixed with banned substances and urged people not to consume any drugs not approved by the Health Ministry.
