Top 5 Reasons to Skip HTC One Mini

HTC One Mini

HTC recently launched the mini version of the flagship HTC One Mini in India after a long wait. However, if you wish to upgrade from your current smartphone this festive season, we wouldn’t recommend the HTC One Mini to you.

5 It’s Only A Mini

While most smartphones are coming up with amazing flagships and great features, HTC One Mini is only the miniature version of their current flagship, HTC One. If you really want a worthy upgrade, we suggest you go in for something bigger and better. Something like a flagship phone with a difference.

4 Android OS

One of the first things to check on buying an Android gadget is its Android version. And sadly, HTC One Mini comes with the slightly outdated Android Jelly Bean 4.2. While the phone does warrant a Jelly Bean 4.3 upgrade, we are not really sure of any future upgrades…

3 Processor

HTC One Mini comes with a dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. While the RAM is sufficient, the dual-core processor was a bit of a letdown.

2 Memory

HTC One Mini supports sufficient internal memory. However, there’s no memory card slot for expansion and that is one HUGE drawback. Restricting the memory to just 16 GB might be a very bad move on HTC’s part…

1 Price

Even if we let go of all other factors and focus just on the phone itself, HTC might have managed to win hearts. However with a phone priced at Rs 37,000 and that too a Mini, HTC seems to be pushing their luck too far. You might want to instead opt for actual flagship phones available much cheaper!
