The year 2013 is fast coming to an end and for some of the Nigerian divas; the year is ending on a high. In 2013, we noticed that the airwaves witnessed a strong presence of female singers; all churning out lovely songs that got us all dancing. From Lagos to Port Harcourt to Abuja, their songs were either club bangers or received massive airplays. The story is not different from the rest of the country.
Some of these songs were not just strong in Nigeria; they were DJs’ favourites across the continent.
In this special feature, we take a look at some of the divas who rocked the airwaves and the stages in 2013. We hope they also smiled to the banks as well.
