Jay Z sued over “Run This Town”.
Four years after releasing the massive hit “Run This Town” featuring Kanye West and Rihanna, Jay Z’s single has come back to haunt him. According to reports the rapper is being sued by a company called TufAmerica Inc for the use of an un-cleared sample in “Run This Town”.
The sample in question comes from the 1969 song, “Hook & Sling”, by Eddie Bo. Jay Z and his team are yet to respond to the claim.
