From virtual to reality, Mercedes-AMG showed off its ground-clinging Vision Gran Turismo at the Los Angeles Auto Show today.
Designed to be a visionary concept car in the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 video game for the PlayStation 3, the Mercedes-AMG Vision Gran Turismo is one hell of a machine and even more so in real life. It’s swooping lines and curvaceous body lends to its extreme style, while the massive wheels and minimal ground clearance reminds us that the Vision Gran Turismo is hardly hitting the streets anytime soon.
Nonetheless, with 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, the Vision Gran Turismo must be a blast to drive, considering it weighs in at only 3,053 lbs. Those that will be getting the car in Gran Turismo 6 will at least get to enjoy it virtually, rowing through the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT seven-speed sports transmission.
