While reporting on the Ebola outbreak taking place in West Africa, a NBC cameraman has tested positive for the virus.
The 33 year old man who has not been identified to the public, was working as a freelance videographer for NBC. He was a part of a small crew of five working with the network's top medical correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman.
The unidentified NBC worker makes the fourth American to contract the deadly virus. He will be flown back to the U.S for treatment, CNN reports
"We are doing everything we can to get him the best care possible. He will be flown back to the United States for treatment at a medical center that is equipped to handle Ebola patients," NBC News President Deborah Turness.
