The Senate Race in South Carolina is being called for Senator Tim Scott, who was already obtained his seat after Jim Demint didn’t seek a third term, and Governor Nikki Haley appointed him to fill Demint’s place. Scott’s election will be written in American history books in the future, because his victory makes him the first African American hailing from the south to be elected since the Reconstruction.
