Seemingly going downhill pretty quickly, Nicki Minaj’s breakup with longtime boyfriend Safaree “SB” Samuels has taken another unfortunate turn. Earlier this week, while promoting her third album The Pinkprint, the Young Money rapstress broke down in an interview with Angie Martinez about their split. Now, it seems there are rumors that Samuels is attempting to blackmail Nicki, and she took to Twitter to publicly respond.
Calling her ex-boyfriend and “ungrateful evil soul,” the “All Things Go” rapper revealed that Samuels may be attempting to sell videos, presumably of Nicki. She also detailed protecting him and supporting his desire to be famous:
Catching wind of Nicki’s rant, Samuels took to Twitter himself. Questioning the rapper’s public method of communication, he denied claims of blackmail. He also accused Nicki of having no respect for him and playing the victim in their breakup:
