Egypt has banned Hollywood movie Exodus: Gods and Kings over its many historical inaccuracies.
The country’s censorship board made the decision over the biblical film, which stars Christian Bale as Moses.
These inaccuracies include the film’s depiction of Jews as having built the Pyramids, and that an earthquake, not a miracle by Moses, caused the Red Sea to part.
Exodus: Gods and Kings, which cost a reported $140m (£89m) to make, took $24.5m on its debut weekend.
