Next Spider-Man Likely Won't Be Peter Parker; Reportedly A Blackman

Jeff Sneider from The Wrap just dropped a potential bomb regarding the next Spider-Man on the Meet the Movie Press podcast, which he co-hosts with Mark Reilly from Schmoes Know.

According to Hollywood writer Jeff Sneider, the next Spider-Man will be “most likely black”

“This is not set in stone guys, but I’m telling you right now: Spider-Man’s not going to be white,” he revealed.
While sources were not disclosed, Sneider claimed a high degree of certainty. “Spider-Man’s going to be most likely black. There’s a chance he could also be Latino,” he said, “I’m 95% sure: not white.”

The new Spider-Man is expected to make a cameo in 2016's Captain America: Civil War and will star in his own solo franchise in 2017.
