This Guy Use His Grandpa As A Wingman On Tinder Dates[Video]

As we’ve seen before on this very site, people will do anything to gain a competitive advantage on Tinder. But we doubt anyone has used their grandfather as a wingman.

That was internet jokester Ethan Cole’s plan: use his adorable 89-year-old grandpa, Joe, to soften up his Tinder dates, before he swoops in as the real match. They began the scheme by creating a profile for Joe using a vintage photo from his younger days, which got him 37 matches. Five of the women agreed to be filmed on their dates as part of a “documentary” Joe was working on.

Heading into the dates, Joe wondered, “Suppose they go for me instead of you, because I’m richer than you?” Turns out that wasn’t such a far-fetched outcome. Watch the generation gap vanish before your very eyes:
