Miami Beach police just tweeted that this appears to have been a hoax. There are no victims and no injuries at the home, police said.
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Police have surrounded rapper Lil Wayne’s home in Miami Beach after gunfire was reported, NBC6 has reported.
Police have not made contact with anybody inside the home, according to NBC6.
Real estate records show that in August 2011 the home was purchased for $11.6 million by a Florida corporation managed by Dwayne M. Carter, also known as Lil Wayne. Its current market value is $9.4 million, NBC6 reported.
