Body Falls From Flight Into Niger

 

 

 

A possible stowaway fell to their death from an Air France flight as it prepared to land in the Niger capital of Niamey. The Associated Press reports that the unidentified person landed in a western suburb of the city in early morning hours, missing a local resident by a few meters. The stowaway, according to officials, was believed to be hiding in the plane’s landing gear and fell out as it made its approach to land. It is thought the person sneaked onto the airplane in Burkina Faso and was perhaps hoping to reach France, which was the flight’s final destination.
