Getting accidentally high on the job is just one of the perks the BBC offers its correspondents who report on the drug situation in Afghanistan.

While attempting to make it through a stand-up next to a burning pile of heroin, opium and only God knows what, BBC's Quentin Sommerville tried to tackle the very serious issue of drug trafficking in Afghanistan. According to Gawker, he reportedly posted the giggly outtakes on Twitter, saying, "You've earned a xmas laugh, at my expense" before soon deleting it.

A BBC spokesperson told The Telegraph, “The video of Quentin corpsing [ed note: "corpsing" means collapsing into laughter], which has now been deleted, was posted in the spirit of a blooper. It was filmed four years ago - it hasn't been seen before and was never broadcast.”
