Tyrese Gibson showed his generous side recently as he gifted his daughter’s nanny a brand new car.
Tyrese, upon telling Elva, the nanny, about the Audi, gives her a hug and yells “you got a new car, Elva!” Overcome with surprise, Elva raises her hands in surprise and then covers her mouth, repeating “no, no, no” and “oh my God.” Around her, a small group claps and cheers as they watch her slide into the driver’s seat.
The nanny, Elva had been taking care of Tyrese’s 7-year old daughter Shayla since she was a year and half and the actor felt a new ride was in order.
As she examines the interior and holds the wheel, the woman says in surprise, “I can’t believe this!” Towards the end of the video, Gibson tells her again that it’s “your car” and then says “get her to sign [the paperwork], get her to sign right away,” to make the gift official.
The nanny, overwhelmed by the gift, smiles, laughs and chokes back tears during much of the two and a half minute clip.
Fans also seemed to appreciate the star’s generosity, as the original Facebook post has generated more than 400,000 likes and over 29,000 comments to date.
